Anti-Sexism Alert System: Identification of Sexist Comments on Social Media Using AI Techniques

Social relationships in the digital sphere are becoming more usual and frequent, they constitute a very important aspect for all of us. Violent interactions this have serious effects on victims. Within global scenario, there is one kind violence that really worrying: sexism against women. Sexist comments publicly posted social media (newspaper comments, networks, etc.), usually obtain lot attention become viral, with consequent damage to persons involved. In paper, we introduce an anti-sexism alert system, based natural language processing (NLP) artificial intelligence (AI), analyzes any public post, decides if it could be considered sexist comment or not. Additionally, system also works analyzing linked multimedia content (piece news, video, tweet, etc.) decides, using color-based similar traffic lights, set posts. We created labeled data Spanish, since majority studies focus English, train our which offers good performance after validation experiments.
